My name is Alexandra and I have been involved in handcraft since a very young age. I am self-taught. I have a degree in Chemical Dyeing and have taken courses in sewing, architectural and ambient lighting, management, and artistic painting. I come from a family of dressmakers, who taught me the importance of recycling, the joy of creation, and the independence that comes with mastering a craft. After a long career in sales and financial management, I decided to surrender to my great love for handcrafting and decorating. I have ventured onto islands and have worked alongside many professionals, from traditional craftsmen to artistic furniture painters, with determination and dedication. For the past 9 years δραστηριοποιούμαι I have been professionally involved in furniture restoration and the creation of decorative and utility items. At the same time, I am a member of the organizational team of the multi-purpose art seminar venue “Little Polytechnic”. I am a passionate lover of detail and beauty.
In this seminar, I will share with you all the secrets and tips I have learned after endless hours of research, studying, experimenting and, of course, making mistakes!
I’m looking forward to sharing with you the joy of creation and adding some colour to the grey days of winter!
